Keep your account
Add a password (and optionally an email) to turn this guest account into a permanent one. You keep your username, messages, and servers.

This is a temporary account. A few things to know:
- It lasts 24 hours, then it's deleted automatically. Keep an eye on the timer in the bottom-right corner.
- You can chat, join voice calls, and use activities like watch parties and the drawing board.
- You can't upload files or create servers, and you can send one message every 20 seconds.
- Want to keep it? Tap the timer any time to add a password and make it permanent, which unlocks file uploads and server creation. Add and verify an email to lift the 20-second message limit too. Either way, you keep your username, messages, and servers.
A few things to know
These are the parts of Eaves that surprise people. They take a minute to read.
- Messages delete themselves Text messages are deleted after 30 days by default. The server owner picks the time.
- Files expire too Files and images are deleted after 30 days. Pin a file to keep it.
- Pins have a storage cap Free accounts can pin up to 3 GB total, Supporters up to 20 GB. Older pins freeze read-only if you go over.
- Encryption is per server The server owner turns on encryption. If you lose your password and your recovery code, encrypted messages stay locked.
- A computer checks your images Your device checks every image you send. No person sees it unless someone reports it.
